Team PRIME Nation Welcomes Kenyon “Coach Key” Cole to the Staff

Team PRIME Nation is proud to announce the addition of Kenyon “Coach Key” Cole to its staff as our Director of Player Advancement & National Outreach — one of the most respected recruiters and mentors in grassroots basketball. Known across the country for his passion, integrity, and deep understanding of the college recruiting process, Coach Key brings decades of experience and relationships that will directly benefit PRIME athletes and families.

Cole, the CEO and founder of 4C Sports, has built a reputation as a trusted leader in player development, scouting, and NIL education. His work has guided countless athletes — from grade school prospects to professionals — through the complexities of recruitment and college decision-making.

“Coach Key is a proven leader in recruiting and player development,” said Nic Levy, CEO of Team PRIME Nation. “He’s built his reputation on integrity, hard work, and results — the same values that define PRIME Nation.”

A Leader with a Purpose

For Coach Key, basketball has always been about more than just the game — it’s about people.

“I wanted to create a space where student-athletes and their parents can get the help they need to navigate the recruiting process as well as NIL,” said Cole. “My goal has always been to serve families the right way and prepare young athletes for life on and off the court.”

That mission mirrors the foundation of Team PRIME Nation — a program built on relationships, mentorship, and development at every level. Cole’s addition strengthens that foundation even further, giving athletes direct access to one of the top minds in recruiting and player relations.

“At PRIME, we want to surround our players with people who care as much about their future as we do,” said Levy. “Coach Key’s experience and his network instantly make our program stronger. He’s someone who genuinely wants to see kids win — not just in basketball, but in life.”

Expanding the PRIME Vision

In his new role, Coach Key will be instrumental in recruiting, player mentorship, and college placement, working closely with Reggie Patterson and the rest of PRIME’s leadership team to expand the program’s footprint across the Midwest and beyond.

He’ll also play a key role in creating educational opportunities for families — from NIL guidance to recruiting workshops — ensuring PRIME athletes are fully equipped to make informed decisions about their athletic and academic futures.

“Success is when young athletes get to live out their dreams — not only on the court but also in the classroom,” Cole said. “That’s what drives me. And PRIME Nation shares that same vision of developing the whole person, not just the player.”

A Shared Culture of Family and Growth

Both Cole and PRIME leadership share the same core belief: family first. The program’s success has always been built on trust, loyalty, and the idea that chemistry off the court directly impacts performance on it.

“Iron sharpens iron,” Cole emphasized. “When people come together with the same purpose, everyone gets better. PRIME Nation is family, and that’s something you can feel the moment you walk in.”

Levy agreed, noting that this addition reflects PRIME’s commitment to continuous growth.

“We’re not just trying to win games — we’re building something that lasts,” Levy said. “Bringing Coach Key on board reinforces our mission to be the gold standard in girls’ basketball development and recruiting.”
